in western culture, we tend to over-wash our hair. most shampoos use harsh detergents that strip your hair of its natural oils. this leaves the scalp irritated, triggering an overproduction of oil. the result? greasy hair, dry scalp, frizziness, and a whole host of other issues.

we designed our shampoo and conditioner to gently cleanse your scalp using plant-based ingredients that restore balance to your hair and scalp (and the force).

you’ll notice a couple of improvements with our newly reformulated conditioner as well as the shampoo. first, it’s now easier to use—thanks to a more consistent texture that comes out of the bottle with ease. second, you’re getting 4 more ounces of product while the price remains the same. how did we manage that?

well, we realized the cost difference between a 12-ounce and 8-ounce bottle wasn’t that significant, so we added extra product without increasing the price. sure, we’re making a little less margin than before, but it works out in everyone’s favor. more product, same price. win-win.

DIRECTIONS

our barbers recommend shampooing 2-4 times/wk for wavy-straight hair and 2-4 times/mo for curly hair. (for real)

wet your hair, lather with shampoo, rinse, and condition. repeat if necessary.

conditioner is necessary for short hair, too. no, it won’t make your hair oily. it will prevent that.

co-wash: if you have thick curly hair, you may try co-washing where you only use conditioner. this removes dirt and excessive buildup of oil without stripping your scalp. it’s the rage in the curly hair world for a reason.
